Project Background
The City is planning to reconfigure and rehabilitate pavement along Tower Avenue, between N 28th Street and Belknap Street, in the summer of 2025.
The following are included as part of the project:
Reconfiguration of Tower Avenue
Addition of landscaped medians along Tower Avenue
Select pavement rehabilitation
Addition of bump outs at select locations
Minor sewer reconfiguration
ADA improvements
Project goals include improving safety for pedestrians and vehicles, creating a uniform Tower Avenue corridor, reducing pavement roughness, and preparing for future WisDOT projects.

Summer 2023 - Feasibility Study completed
December 2024 - Design and engineering starts
March 5 2025 - Public Open House
Summer 2025 - Construction starts
